With passion for working with wood
We only work with New Forest oak, which is slower growing than European oak, making it stronger.
Craftsmen have used New Forest oak as the material of choice for centuries, as it gets harder with age – without the need for additional wood treatment. First planted for boat building and now used for all manner of projects, due to its durability, strength, warmth of feel and aesthetic beauty.
We use traditional mortise and tenon joints, draw bored, so when the joint is pegged it pulls the joint together – providing a far stronger joint.

Oak frames made on site have a smaller carbon footprint, as your oak will come directly from the sawmill, reducing transportation miles and costs.

“We can make your oak frame on site to ensure that it fits your base perfectly, even if it’s out of square! ”
